Ian Jenkins Appointed Managing Director of Hoskyn Child (Asia) Ltd

Ian's background was initially as a production specialist based in the Far East. Although UK born, Ian has spent the last 20 years based in Hong Kong and China working predominantly with large manufacturing companies.

Having set up various plants from scratch such as the Bluebird Toys Manufacturing Plant and having advised companies such as the likes of Dyson on moving production abroad Ian is the ideal person to head up the HCI group Far East operation.

Ian has spent the last 18 months assisting with the sourcing of suitable manufacturers ensuring that they are both vetted properly as well as having all the key characteristics that our clients require.

Ian speaks fluent Cantonese as well as Mandarin which - as you would expect - allows us to make the most of our contacts in the Far East .

Hoskyn Child open Far East Offices

Hoskyn Child has recently opened its second office in the Far East - based in Hong Kong in the New Territories. We now operate four engineers and design staff for our clients benefit. Clients visiting Hong Kong will be able to utilise full office facilities for meetings and general purposes along with secretarial support from our own HCA staff.

HCI appoints a selections of Manufacturing Plants

We have appointed a selection of seven manufacturing plants of varying sizes to meet the growing demand from our UK and European customer base.

Key client requirements vary from design through to short and long run manufacturing projects with significant savings being achieved.

With full British Standard certification provided by the plants at the most up to date levels, these factories are achieving 30% - 60% savings whilst keeping rejection rates and quality returns down to less than 0.5%.
